So we are driving home last night and Ethan was asking about Jesus living on earth and Jesus living in our hearts. He asked how does Jesus live in our hearts. So I say. "Well the bible says that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord--then I am adamantly interrupted before I can finish--and believe in your hearts that God raised Him from the dead than you shall be saved (Romans 10:9).
So Ethan proceeds to slap his leg and say, "but I thought God was Lord!?"
Oh son...shall we go down the path of the trinity with a 5 year old?
